Feature Friday: Tommy & Tuppence & Giveaway!

I am so excited that I have been able to start the Feature Friday series again. I had to stop it during my IVF treatment and over the "morning" sickness period. However now that I am feeling better I am glad to be able to start showcasing some wonderful designers and crafters again.!

 

Tasty Tuesday - Blueberry & Oat Breakfast Mug Muffin

 Good morning everyone... If you read this post and it doesn't make sense I apologise in advance. I am currently recovering from a weekend of camping (Yes I went camping) and let's just say I didn't get much sleep in this time... stories to come in a later post. So I'm feeling a little camping "jet lagged" to say the least. It seems when I get tired my brain dies and then everything I do or say doesn't seem to come out right! So bear with me today! :-)

 I have been pretty busy the last few weeks with my head down, bum up into furniture makeovers. I am trying to take advantage of my reasonable energy levels and reasonably size tummy for the moment. I know this is all going to change in the next few months so I want to grasp the opportunity to get things done now.

Tasty Tuesday - 5 Minute Sticky Date Pudding

Boy oh boy do I have a tasty recipe for you today. You're in for a real treat! I was inspired last week after viewing one of my friends  photo's on facebook of a delicious coffee cake she made in a mug using the microwave. I have heard and seen a few recipes like these and thought I should try it one day ........

Tasty Tuesday..... Caramel Popcorn Cupcake

Feeling sick of sugar and chocolate yet? I'm not but that's because I can't eat it! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed special time with your family and friends. We had a quiet Easter over at the Whimsical House.... pottering in the garden, relaxing on the deck, catching up with family and friends, lots of great food and a bit of painting - which turned disastrous. Fond Easter Memories.....

I've realised I haven't really written much about myself or personal experiences on this blog. It usually is all about cooking, baking, decorating, painting or renovating and not a lot of those posts have a lot of depth to them. However Easter time evokes fond childhood memories for me and I thought I would share them with you.

Since becoming pregnant and having and overcoming morning sickness my lack of interest in cooking has resulted in many a quick and simple meal being laid on the table. I can only imagine this will continue as the pregnancy continues on and the baby is born. It probably will get worse when we have a newborn in the house.
