Tasty Tuesday - Fig & Almond Frangipane Tart

Fresh figs, aren't they just a delight to each fresh? Little brightly jewelled red centers - sweet as can be. They are a strange looking fruit and I have only just recently been converted to loving fresh figs.

 I just don't think I realised how good they were until probably about a year ago........

Antique Tea Trolley

 I finally finished the tea trolley that I have been working on over the past few weeks. Thank you to all who commented on facebook giving me some advice on what image to put on the top of it. It was most helpful as I am really struggling to decide on things lately and I can only put that down to baby brain.

I am so glad that I can finally start showing you some of the pieces that I have been working on over the last month. I showed you my bentwood armchair makeover last week, which I so happy with the result of. The piece that I am showing you today was one I picked up on the cheap.... for like $5.

What a busy week I have had.... birthdays, coffee dates, painting furniture, sewing things and trying to fit in cooking, cleaning and going to work in there as well - all the while being six months pregnant and feeling tired. I have to say I am looking forward to the long weekend. Anyway enough of my whinging, I have a great business women and designer to show case today.
