Well again I was slack and didn't get a Tasty Tuesday post up yesterday. Naughty me. However I do have a perfectly good excuse for not doing it. It's something called Morning sickness. Well in my case it seems to be Morning, Noon and Night sickness. Let's just say the thought of cooking, eating or talking about food turns my stomach. Meat, vegetables and tomato are off the menu and toast, crackers and fruit are on the menu. So it may be some time before I can bring myself to cook, photograph and write a post about food. I may need to get some guest writers in.... anyone want to volunteer?

Those who are facebook likers would of found out the news on Monday. I am currently 12 1/2 weeks pregnant with a very healthy baby. Thanks to my severe morning sickness. I had my second scan on Monday which was a very special moment for any first time parent. It was special to see the little baby moving around inside of me.

We found out we were pregnant two weeks before christmas, which was the best christmas present ever..... until the morning sickness kicked in a week later. I spent my christmas holidays away at the sunshine coast lying on a couch watching TV while the rest of the family enjoyed the beach. I guess you can't win them all.

It's still a bit surreal that I am pregnant considering this journey has been nearly 3 1/2 years in the making. Years of waiting, many ups & downs, numerous tests, many vials of blood taken, scans, injections, many boxes of medication and two cycles of IVF later our little miracle took form. I can only say that is was by the grace and strength of God that has gotten me through these years of that deep and painful struggle. I just want to give those who are stuggling with infertility to never give up hope.

So I will try my best to keep some posts up when and where I can but until I start feeling better you may have to put up with a few Pinterest posts with things that inspire me.... and it won't be baby orientated - well I will try to limit it anyway.
